The filtration of the

industrial waters

Filter presses act in the water filtration process by dehydrating under pressure which produces sludge, solidifying the particles present in the water.

Thanks to pressurized dehydration in the case of purification filtration, Fazzini filter presses transform wastewater into sludge. This means that the waste particles in the water solidify, becoming waste, ready for disposal. They also play a key ecological role by removing particles that could be harmful to the environment from wastewater.

In the case of process filtration, Fazzini filter presses allow the recovery of the noble part that is dispersed in the water during the production process itself, as for example in the mining industry.

Suspended particles of precious metals (e.g. lead, copper, zinc) can be found in the water used during extraction, which are then transformed into solids and recovered for production.

This type of filtration guarantees, among other things, the best possible degree of dehydration, the so-called highest dryness.

Press filters with membrane plates

Membrane plate filters allow for further "squeezing" of the filtration sludge. This technology allows for washing with water and blowing with air the cake that forms during the filtration process.

Cake Washing, also known as cake washing, allows you to:

  • Remove any contaminants present in the sludge
  • Recover any substances left inside the cake which are the noble part of the process

Maintenance

In its production standards, FILTRI FAZZINI has always paid particular attention to aspects relating to filter press efficiency and perfect operation. Filter presses are fixed machinery subject to limited wear (its components remain virtually unchanged over time) and have low operating and service costs. Furthermore, the installed power required is very low and requires only occasional maintenance, requiring only occasional washing and cleaning.
